Help Wanted!
Gibby Wants You
Work Bee Sunday-Friday, August 10-15 Four projects are on the list for this week. All skill levels are needed.
Jim and Martha Grossman of the Dogwood Foundation will be directing the project. Jim is a great boss who has a job for everyone. Come and enjoy fun, fellowship and the good cuisine of Wil Cook! Call or email Wil, Larry or Gibby to let us know that you are coming.
Painter Wanted We need a painter with the professional skills and equipment to paint the exterior and interior doors, door casings and window trim of the cabins. If you know a professional painter who is willing to come to the field station, please contact Gibby Muth.
Telephone and Wireless Internet Installed The Comcast cable has been installed and now there is wireless high-speed internet for the campus. In addition there is telephone service in most of the rooms, a good voice mail system and an ethernet connection to the internet in all the rooms. Thanks goes to Sheldon and Marilyn Hendricks for spending a week with us doing the entire installation.
Sheldon and Marilyn Hendricks Sadness It is with sadness we announce the death of Pat Cochran on June 15, 2008. Pat volunteered at Albion to paint the new bathrooms in Lonicera and spray paint the cabins in the lower camp in December. Pat is remembered for his upbeat personality, his extensive volunteering for many projects and his leading the singing and playing his guitar during times of informal worship. Pat had planned to come and help us finish the painting. He will be missed.
BEAT THE HEAT AND AVOID THE SMOKE! VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH THESE PROJECTS IN THE COOL TEMPERATURES OF ALBION. WE NEED YOU! PLEASE CONTACT WIL, GIBBY OR LARRY.
